NEWS

Construction of the Plainfield Nature Park on Loon Lake has been completed. The boardwalk and trails are a great way to see the beauty of our great out-of-doors. Take the time to check it out on your next visit to the area.
Assembly on the new fire truck will begin December 1, 2008, and delivery is expected in March 2009.

Library Raises Funds & Helps Environment

The Plainfield Branch Library in Hale is accepting donations of used computer ink cartridges.
The "Empties for Cash" on-going fund-raiser also helps the environment by recycling!

F.O.L. began in July 1996 and assists our local library by:

Increasing public awareness of the library
Purchasing books, materials & supplies
Providing funding for support staff
decorating the library with artwork from local school children
Helping with children programs
Holding book talks
Conducting used book sales
helping in any way needed
Everyone is welcome to join F.O.L.
