PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP
REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 21, 2005

 

Meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. by the Supervisor, followed by the pledge of allegiance.  

Present:  Parkinson, Brown, Bielby, Bassi, Caverly, and 4 citizens. 

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Bassi seconded by Caverly to approve the minutes of the November 11, 2005 regular meeting.  Roll call vote: All ayes.  Motion carried.

Financial Report:  All Accounts are balanced.

Presentation of Bills:  Motion by Brown seconded by Caverly to approve the bills as presented. Roll Call vote:  All Ayes.  Motion carried.

Public Comments: None at 3:10 p.m.

2005 Business Improvement Award: A plaque was presented to Hale Hardware for their business remodeling.
 
Social Security Number Privacy Policy: Motion by Parkinson seconded by Bassi to approve the adoption of this policy effective immediately.  Roll call vote: Ayes:  Bassi, Brown, Caverly, Bielby and Parkinson.  Nays:  None.  Motion carried.

Light at Lakeside: Motion by Caverly seconded by Brown to change the billing on this light from private special assessment to the Township.

Fire Dept: A track is needed for the Argo at a cost of $3,950.00.  Motion by Parkinson seconded by Caverly to allow the Fire Dept to order this track.  Roll call vote:  All Ayes.  Motion carried.

Comments:  Bob Daily would like to thank the State Police, Sheriff Dept. and the businesses for their cooperation in the helping to stop the many fires that have been started in the community.

Motion by  Brown seconded by Bassi to adjourn at 3:45 p.m. All Ayes.  Motion carried.
