SPECIAL BUDGET MEETING
JUNE 15, 2005

Meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. by the Supervisor, followed by the pledge of allegiance.

Present: Parkinson, Bassi, Bielby, Caverly, absent Brown and 4 citizens

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Bassi seconded by Parkinson to approve the minutes of the May 18, 2005 regular meeting. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent. Motion carried. Motion by Parkinson seconded by Caverly to approve the minutes of the special meeting May 31, 2005. Roll call vote. 4 Ayes. 1 Absent. Motion carried.

Financial Report: All accounts are balanced.

Presentation of Bills: Motion by Caverly seconded by Bassi to approve the bills as presented. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes, 1 absent. Motion carried.

Public comments: None.

Resignation: Motion by Parkinson seconded by Caverly to accept the resignation of Phil Farhood from the Planning Commission, effective immediately. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent. Motion carried.

Road Commission Grant Resolution: Motion by Bassi seconded by Caverly to approve a resolution by the Road commission for a Grant. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent. Motion carried.

Iosco Co. Agricultural Society: Motion by Caverly seconded by Bielby to give the Iosco Co. Agri. Soc. $500.00 for the promotion of Plainfield Township at the County Fair. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent. Motion carried.

Londo Lake Weed Treatment: Motion by Caverly seconded by Parkinson to approve the bill from Rustin Lake & Pond service for the weed treatment at Londo Lake, to be paid after July 1 and be put on the tax roll. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent. Motion carried.

Fire Contract: Motion by Parkinson seconded by Caverly to approve the Fire Contract with Goodar Township for two years, the first year $7,750.00 and the second year $8,000.00. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent. Motion carried.

Labor Bids for Concrete: The following bids were opened: Joe Tenbusch $14,700.00,
Wade Construction $8,600.00 and Fred Edgerton $8,892.00.

Planning Commission Appointment: Motion by Caverly seconded Parkinson to appoint Robert Webb to the Planning Commission to replace Phil Farhood, effective immediately. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent. Motion carried.

Motion by Bassi seconded by Bielby to adjourn at 4:15 P.M. All Ayes. Motion carried.
