PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP
REGULAR MEETING
SEPTEMBER 21, 2005

Meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. by the Supervisor, followed by the pledge of allegiance.

Present: Parkinson, Brown, Bielby, Bassi, Caverly, and 2 citizens.

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Bassi seconded by Caverly to approve the minutes of the August 17, 2005 regular meeting. Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.

Financial Report: All Accounts are balanced. The General fund checking $124,693.74.

Approval of Bills: Motion by Caverly seconded by Brown to approve the bills as presented. Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.

Public Comments: None

Auditor report: Stu Reid, of Weinlander Fitzhugh, presented the audit to the Board. He stated that the audit went very well and the Township is in very good financial condition.

Planning Commission: The planning commission recommends an approval for Gary Oil with stipulations that were agreed upon. Motion by Bassi seconded by Brown to approve the commission’s recommendation for Gary Oil with stipulations. Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.

Winter Hours: The Township is looking into a 10 hour day, 4 days a week starting in Dec. thru Feb. Tabled to the next meeting for further study.

Bass Lake Weed Study: Motion by Parkinson seconded by Bielby to pay for the weed study on Bass Lake, this assessment will be collected this year. Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.

Employee Raises: Motion by Parkinson seconded by Bassi to approve a $.30 an hour raise for all hourly and part time employees, effective immediately. Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.

John Heilman: Motion by Parkinson seconded by Caverly to allow John an additional 2 weeks vacation in lieu of a raise, this time cannot be banked or paid. Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.

Motion by Bassi seconded by Bielby to adjourn at 3:50 p.m. All Ayes. Motion carried.
