PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP
REGULAR MEETING
JANUARY 18, 2006

 

Meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. by the Supervisor, followed by the pledge of allegiance.  

Present:  Parkinson, Brown, Bielby, Bassi, Caverly, and no citizens. 

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Bassi seconded by Caverly to approve the minutes of the December 21, 2005 regular meeting.  Roll call vote: All ayes.  Motion carried.

Financial Report:  All Accounts are balanced.

Presentation of Bills:  Motion by Brown seconded by Caverly to approve the bills as presented. Roll call vote:  All Ayes.  Motion carried.

Public Comments: None at 3:12 p.m.

Spicer Grant writing contract:  Motion by Caverly seconded by Brown to enter into a contract with Spicer to work with us to develop, write and submit a grant to the DNR for a recreational grant, approximately $3,000.00. Roll call vote:  All ayes.  Motion carried.

Public Hearing: We need a public hearing to renew the 5-year Waste Site special assessment. The public hearing will be Feb. 15, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. during our regular monthly meeting.

Library Donation:  Our library received a $500.00 gift from the Clara Weiss foundation.

Motion by Bassi seconded by Caverly to adjourn at 3:55 p.m. All ayes.  Motion carried.
