PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP
REGULAR MEETING
MAY 17, 2006

 

The Supervisor, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, called meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.  

Present:  Parkinson, Brown, Bielby, Bassi, and 5 citizens. Absent: Caverly

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Bassi seconded by Brown to approve the minutes of the April 19, 2006 regular meeting. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent.  Motion carried.

Budget Resolution: Motion by Parkinson seconded by Brown to amend the following accounts:  101-751-970 from $5000.00 to $14,000.00 (Parks capital outlay) and account 101-890-956 from $9340.00 to $340.00 ( General fund contingency) Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent.  Motion carried.

Presentation of Bills:  Motion by Brown seconded by Bassi to approve the bills as presented.  Roll call vote:  4 Ayes. 1 Absent.  Motion carried.

Cemetery decorations:  Discussion on some of the decorations being taken. The Township is not responsible for any decorations placed on graves.

Sunrise Enterprises LLC:  Motion by Parkinson seconded by Bassi to increase the contract rate from $683.00 a month to  $753.00 a month for testing. Roll call vote: 4 Ayes. 1 Absent.  Motion carried.

Fire Dept: Joshua Watkins and Michael Caldwell have passed their firefighter’s training.
Bob Dailey informed the Board that they will get some estimates on an aluminum trailer.

Public Comments 7:50 p.m. No comments.

Motion by Bassi seconded by Bielby to adjourn at 7:52. All Ayes. Motion carried.
