PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP
REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 2006

 

The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Present:  Parkinson, Brown, Bielby, Bassi, Caverly, and 3 citizens. 

Approval of Minutes: Motion by Brown seconded by Caverly to approve the minutes of  the November 8, 2006 regular meeting. Roll call vote: All Ayes. Motion carried.

Presentation of Bills:  Motion by Caverly seconded by Brown to approve the bills as presented. Roll call vote:  All Ayes. Motion carried.

Financial Report:  All accounts are in balance.

Revoir Case:  Mr. Heilman presented this case to the Board. He has been trying to clean up this property located at 5375 N. M-65. for the past two years. The premises has become unsafe. Beth Weaver addressed the Board that she has been trying to work with Mr. Revoir.  The Board is supporting a recommendation from John Heilman to condemn this building as an unsafe living dwelling.

Board of Review Appointments:  Motion by Bassi seconded by Caverly to re-appoint the following to the Board of Review:  John Suitor, James Chaimberlain and Robert Streeter, for two years. Roll call vote:  All Ayes.  Motion carried.

Information:  The Township was awarded a DNR Grant for $330,000.00 for the development of the Loon Lake Recreation Park .

Public Comments at 3:50: None.

Motion by Bassi seconded by Bielby to adjourn at 3:58 p.m. All Ayes. Motion carried.
